While analyzing, a glaring point strikes that he had troubled past. He has faced inadequate available resources, even to meet basic requirements. Over a period, Phyllis has learnt to live a life on meager resource. So he has learnt to repress his feelings and gradually has become loner with reducing communication with surrounding people. He is comfortable among his type of people only, otherwise he has to struggle or pretend. He has a tendency to get immersed in his own thought process and does not normally share with others because of his past negative experience and futility of such actions. His approach to any issue, challenge, and future is caution. Because of his meager resources he cannot take risk and negative idea keep peeping in at primary stage. He has low self-image and he is less impressive person for others also. Besides his intelligence is average and he holds doubts about self, so he prefers routine jobs to avoid visualized defeat but it brings disappointments too, not only for self b but even for his superiors.
He has balanced behavior with in society. He has moderate level of organizing capacity. He is interested to learn and seek help. His growth will be slow. He oscillates between positive and negative thoughts however his confidence is gradually growing, tending towards positive. Better hazy image of future is lingering in his mind. A person, who finds difficulty to assess for his own future, cannot talk of Kenyan future.
His priority is to meet basic needs at first instance but simultaneously he is not greedy. So the approach is ethical. Because of his lower level of abilities he tends to be religious, not by careful analytical/thoughtful approach but by faith only. He likes to keep the things plain and straight without peripherals.
With moderate growth, he will be interested to continue his job of routine type where decision-making is not involved. He is interested to change and learn. He is a total follower type personality who carries out only given instructions to his fullest ability. Such people confirm to systems. He expects appreciation from seniors but will never say so. His improvement rate much depends on his immediate senior also. His senior has to take initiative to dig his few qualities out, which he will not portray because of his introvert nature. |
